Tips

From the Chef

I'm often asked about the best way to get juicy, tender steaks on the grill.  Searing is the way to go.  You can sear your steaks on a high temperature (or soem grills, like mine, even have a dedicated searing burner on the side) and then reduce the overall heat of the grill.  This will give you a great color and and help retain much of the jice and flavor of your steaks.

Our dining room is quiet and perfect for special occasions and business meals.

The UC has a long-standing reputation for exceptional food and attentive service.  Our dining room is quiet and perfect for special occasions and business meals. In addition to our impeccable dining room offerings, we have expanded the bar dining menu to accommodate more casual dining occasions all day.  Families are welcome. Sunday brunch is a family favorite, with a full buffet of traditional offerings and great entrees, sides, and salads.  The made to order waffles and a tempting dessert bar is a great to finish off your meal. Buffets are also served for holidays, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving and Easter. Look for special gourmet dining events and outdoor barbeques in the summer.
